A private yoga session is helpful if you have specific physical issues you want to address or you just want the personal attention that a one-on-one session will offer you. I can challenge you physically at the level right for you and offer you a targeted lesson plan/practice.
The goal is for you to get into a habit of practicing, even if it is just 10 minutes a day. You will get a better understanding of the movement and the poses and improve awareness of your own body and posture.
At the same time, you can rewind, relax and de-stress as Iyengar yoga has wonderful ways to incorporate supported poses at the end or during a practice. Or I can teach you how to use props for a full restorative practice.
I also take appointments for yoga sessions/movements with physically or mentally disabled individuals. Please see my bio and training for my experience in this field.
